Borovkova Ekaterina
Dr. Borovkova in 2000 he graduated with honors from Moscow Medical Academy named after Sechenov in specialty «Medicine», then was trained in clinical internship and postgraduate study at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Department of Profesional retraining of Moscow Medical Academy named after Sechenov. In 2004 she defended her thesis on «Interaction between infectious agents from the body of a pregnant as a risk factor of intrauterine infection of the fetus». Since 2005, she teaches at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Institute of Education of Physicians, the First Moscow State Medical University named after Sechenov, oversees the obstetrical and gynecological department in State Clinical Hospital named after A.K. Eramishantsev.
Experience
In 2009 she was awarded the highest category of medical qualification. She passed primary specialization in ultrasound diagnosis in 2009. In 2013 she defended her doctoral thesis on «Management of pregnant women with obesity and metabolic syndrome». In 2013, the Higher Attestation Commission awarded her with the title of Associate Professor.
Dr. Borovkova is an active participant of Russian and international congresses in obstetrics and gynecology, gynecological endocrinology, menopause and metabolic syndrome. In 2012-2014 she took part in a multicenter international study of efficiency and safety of micronized progesterone in patients at risk for premature birth.
Total working experience of 13 years. Dr. Borovkova mastered modern methods of operative gynecology (hysteroscopy, hysteroresectoscopy, laparoscopy, laparotomy), as well as the skills of conducting physiological and operational delivery.
Full range of obstetric and gynecological pathology: infertility, maintaining physiological and complicated pregnancy and childbirth, diseases of the cervix, chronic inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, gynecological endocrinology, child and adolescent gynecology, ultrasound diagnostics in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Borovkova is an author of 130 publications (including in foreign journals), has 2 patents for invention, 1 proprietary author manuscript, 2-times winner of the Russian competition «Young Scientists», co-author of the National Leadership of obstetrics and gynecology.
