The birth of a child is one of the happiest and most exciting events in a woman's life. We want your stay with us to be remembered as happy moment filled with delicate and individual care. So we made sure to create a cozy home-like atmosphere for our patients inside of our ultra-modern and high-tech medical clinic. The beautiful building of our maternity hospital is located in the center of Moscow in close proximity to the rest of the EMC clinics. We provide convenient parking, a small garden for you to enjoy and a spacious covered terrace on the second level of the hospital.

We offer you a choice of three accommodation options to enjoy after your baby is born.
- The amenities include a multifunctional medical bed, a cot, a baby changing table, a dining area, LCD TV, a mini-refrigerator, a safety box, a telephone and free Wi Fi in each suite. Suites are equipped with air conditioning and staff call button.
- Service in the rooms is available 24/7. The food menu is individually developed by a dietician in compliance with the diet recommendations for nursing moms.
- We will provide you and your baby with all the necessary accessories and care products while your stay with us: bathrobes, slippers, disposable underwear, hygiene items – for mom; clothes, caps, booties, a warm envelope, a pacifier and diapers – for babies.
Pregnancy care in EMC
Our highly-skilled and experienced OB/GYNs (some of whom are also internationally-trained and have international work experience) care for pregnant women from the first days of pregnancy till delivery. Our physicians provide full care to the patients, including expert-level ultrasound examinations throughout the pregnancy, genetic screenings, assessment of infectious diseases risks etc. This eliminates a necessity to see different OB doctors during the pregnancy. We see patients with normal pregnancies as well as high-risk patients, patients with twins and triplets, patients with pregnancies after IVF. Postpartum care including physiotherapy to strengthen pelvic muscles after delivery is offered to our patients as well. Other EMC medical and surgical specialists are available to pregnant patients for medical advice and recommendations when needed.
SAFE DELIVERY
Labor management
Our patients are a big part of decision making when choosing active or conservative labor management, the mode of delivery etc.The birth plan which has been previously established will be fully respected by the medical team except for medical necessity either for the patient or the baby. You will experience labor and delivery in a comfortable private delivery room where your husband, family member or a friend may also stay with you. In the case of a normal birth we will implement all the accompanying techniques that the patient has previously chosen: ballon, bath, epidural, hypnosis.
Pain relief in labor and delivery
We use most up-to-date anesthetic techniques: spinal, epidural and combined anesthesia; mild sedation and rarely, when spinal and epidural anesthesia are contraindicated in the setting of a cesarean section — a general anesthesia.
You will have an opportunity to discuss all anesthesia options and possible contraindications with your anesthesiologist before labor starts.
There are also some traditional methods of pain relief available to our patients if they choose: a warm bath or shower, breathing techniques, massage.
Examinations and medical manipulations after delivery are performed with anesthesia and do not cause significant discomfort.
Safety of your baby
A neonatologist will be present at the delivery at all times and will assess the baby’s condition immediately after birth. He or she along with a pediatric nurse will be in touch with you during your stay and are available 24/7 to answer all the questions about your baby’s health.
Your doctor and a midwife will explain to you how to best take care of the baby, will assist you with breastfeeding. We suggest feeding your baby on-demand starting from the beginning but different feeding schedules will also be explained to you to find the most acceptable for you.
Thalassotherapy
On request a newborn baby will be able to benefit by thalassothérapy by a trained and qualified puericulturist using the top best techniques developed by La Muette.
Neonatal Unit
Our state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit is equipped to provide a newborn baby with the highest standard medical care including the complex and advanced care for extremely premature neonates.
Maternal ICU
The state-of-the-art maternal ICU provides care to post-surgical patients, critically ill pregnant patients as well as to women after complicated deliveries with medical conditions. Intraoperative blood salvage system is available in the operating rooms, continuous vital sign monitoring, mechanical ventilation are used in the ICU whenever needed.
High-Risk Obstetric Division
Many pregnancies that are threatened by co-existing medical or fetal conditions require the highest medical expertise and advanced techniques and equipment that we offer to our patients in such instances.
Discharge from the maternity hospital
We will help you keep the memories of the precious moments - photo and video services are available to you so that the emotions of childbirth and first days after are kept for a long time. Make-up artist, manicure and pedicure services are also at your disposal at our maternity clinic.
If you would like we can arrange a party for you and your guests on the discharge day: we decorate the hall, prepare the buffet and take care of all the details.
