Vsevolod Matveev

Graduate of the Medical Faculty of the 1st I. M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Institute. After graduating from the Institute, he worked as a polyclinic doctor at the Research Institute of Urology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. From 1991 to 1994, he completed postgraduate studies at the Research Institute of Urology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. In 1994, he defended his PhD thesis on: "Benign kidney tumors. Clinic, diagnosis and treatment".

After completing his postgraduate studies, he was hired at the N. N. Blokhin Russian Research Center of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences as a surgeon. From 1995 to 1997, he worked as a urologist at the Royal Free Hospital, London. After completing his work in England, he received a trainee certificate from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In 2002 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the topic: "Surgical treatment of complicated venous invasion and metastatic kidney cancer". In 1997, he joined the Department of Urology of the N. N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center as a researcher, and since 1999-a leading researcher.
