The doctor is the organizer and presenter of the certification course for doctors "Laser treatment methods in ophthalmology".
Dr. Makarov led the development of new surgical laser techniques for the treatment of the anterior and posterior segments of the eyeball in children and developments to optimize the surgical treatment of strabismus, ptosis of the eyelids and plasty of the lacrimal system.
He is the author of two developments of new methods of treating eye diseases in children, one patent, and more than 50 scientific articles in Russian and international medical journals.
