In 1972, he graduated from the First Moscow State Medical University. Sechenov.
From 1972 to 1973, he completed residency training in the specialty " Urology "(Clinical Hospital No. 50).
From 1974-1979, he completed a residency in radiological diagnostics (Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center, Jerusalem, Israel).
In 1985, he completed an internship and was a freelance researcher at the Royal Marsden Hospital and the Sutton Cancer Institute (England).
Currently, he holds the position of Professor of Radiology at Hadassah Hospital. Headed the Department of radiological diagnostics of this clinic until December 2011.
