In 1997, he graduated with honors from the Stavropol State Medical Academy.
From 1997 to 2000, he completed his clinical residency in Pediatric Surgery at the Stavropol Academy, and from 2000 to 2003, he undertook postgraduate studies in Pediatric Surgery at the Moscow Scientific Research Institute of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery of the Russian Federation Ministry of Health.
Experience
Was certified as a pediatric surgeon, urologist and andrologist in 2010, as well as receiving a certificate of GCP (Good Clinical Practice).
He has been practicing as a pediatric surgeon since 1997. From 2008 to 2014, he worked as the Head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery at the Federal State Funded Institution “Central Clinical Hospital and Clinic” at the Department of Presidential Affairs of the Russian Federation.
From 2003, he annually participates in the following congresses: The European Paediatric Surgeons Association (EUPSA), the British Association of Paediatric Surgeons (BAPS), and the European Society of Paediatric Endoscopic Surgeons (ESPES). He has conducted nine visiting master-classes on the topic of endoscopic methods of treating inguinal hernias in children.
As a student of Professor E. L. Vishnevsky, he spent 13 years treating and rehabilitating children with disorders of urination and defecation (urinary incontinence, nocturnal enuresis, neurogenic bladder, fecal incontinence). The scope of his practical interests includes: planned and emergency endoscopic surgery; reconstructive endoscopic and open surgery of the kidneys, ureters, bladder and genitals; abnormal urination and defecation among children (neurogenic bladder, urinary and fecal incontinence).
He is the author of the original minimally invasive sutureless surgery for inguinal hernias in children, and has personally carried out over 300 operations. He is the author of three invention patents.
He developed and first introduced into practice sutureless endoscopic surgery for inguinal hernias in children.
He is the author of 65 scientific papers in Russian and international publications.
