Experience and education
In 1996, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University. In 2003, after completing his doctoral studies, he received a Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.), and in 2004 he passed the Swiss Federal Examination in Neurosurgery. In 2006, he defended his Diploma in Neurosurgery. In 2009, he received the European Diploma in Neurosurgery from the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS).
1996 - 1998 – Assistant physician at the Clinic of Neurosurgery, University Hospital in Vilnius;
1999 - 2000 – Assistant physician at the Clinic of Neurosurgery, Cantonal Hospital of Aarau, Switzerland;
2001 – Assistant physician at the Neurosurgical Department of the Cantonal Hospital of Winterthur, Switzerland;
2002 - 2004 – Assistant physician at the Neurosurgical Clinic of the University Hospital of Zurich;
2005 - 2008 – Senior physician at the Neurosurgical Clinic of the University Hospital of Zurich;
2007 - 2008 – Head of the interdisciplinary team for neurotrauma in the Department of Traumatic Surgery, University Hospital of Zurich;
2009 – Establishment of a private neurosurgical practice in Zurich with a primary focus on "Brain Surgery";
2009 – Collaboration with the Hirslanden Neurosurgical Clinic in Zurich;
2009 – Co-founder of the Swiss Neuroinstitute;

Author of over 70 scientific reports at congresses, training sessions, specialized groups, and international journals.
Since 2007 – Giving lectures at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zurich;
Since 2007 – Regular master classes on practical aspects of cranial microsurgery in 14 countries around the world;
2010 - 2012 – Trainer of the training program "Endoscopic Microneurosurgery";
2010 – Honorary Professor of Kuban State Medical University, Russia (in recognition of the practical implementation of the principles and foundations of microsurgery over 5 years);
Since 2011 – Member of the advisory group of the World NeuroSurgery journal;
Since 2011 – Lecturer of the Committee on Education and Professional Training, World Federation of Neurosurgeons;
2013 – Extraordinary Professor at the Second Medical College of Zhengzhou University, China.
