Chesnulis Evaldas
In 1996 graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Vilnius University. In 2003 received the academic degree of Doctor of Medicine, (M.D), having completed his doctorate, and in 2004 passed the Swiss federal exam in the specialty Neurosurgery. In 2006 defended his diploma in the specialty "Neurosurgery". In 2009 achieved the European certificate in neurosurgery at the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS).
Experience
1996 - 1998 - Assistant doctor at the Neurosurgery Clinic of the University Hospital in Vilnius;
1999 - 2000 - Assistant doctor at the Neurosurgery Clinic of the Cantonal Hospital Aarau, Switzerland;
2001 - Assistant doctor of the neurosurgical department of the Canton Hospital Winterthur, Switzerland;
2002 - 2004 - Assistant doctor at the neurosurgical clinic at the hospital of the University of Zurich;
2005 - 2008 - Senior doctor of the neurosurgical clinic of the hospital of the University of Zurich;
2007 - 2008 - Head of the interdisciplinary group on neurotraumas in the Department of Traumatic Surgery, University Hospital Zurich;
2009 - Establishment of a private neurosurgical practice in Zurich with the main focus on Brain Surgery;
2009 - cooperation with the Hirslanden Neurosurgical Clinic in Zurich;
2009 - co-founder of the Swiss Neuro Institute;

2010 - 2012 - trainer of the training program "Endoscopic microneurosurgery";
2010 - Honorary Professor of the Kuban State Medical University, Russia (in recognition of the practical implementation of the principles and foundations of microsurgery during the last 5 years);
Since 2011 - Member of the advisory group of World NeuroSurgery Journal;
Since 2011 – Lecturer of the Education and Training Committee of the World Federation of Neurosurgeons;
2013 - Extraordinary Professor at the Second Medical College of Zhengzhou University, China.
