The following are reasons for emergency hospitalization: ENT injuries and abscesses, a severe headache that accompanies nose or ear inflammation, bleeding of the nose or ear, choking, persistent attacks of severe coughing, attacks of vertigo with vomiting, or a high fever with inflammation of the ears, nose, or throat.
Endoscopic surgery of the ENT organs is one of the Clinic's priorities: adenoidectomy, septoplasty, dacryocystorhinostomy, surgery of the paranasal sinuses and base of the skull using FESS (in conjunction with the neurosurgeons). All surgeons at the Clinic are competent in the FESS - (Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery) technique. The advantage of the endoscopic technique is its high precision, which reduces the operation’s risk and complications, leading to a faster recovery. Acute and chronic sinusitus is treated with minimally invasive surgery - balloon sinuplasty. Post surgery recovery is rapid and requires a minimal stay in the clinic. The patient is discharged on the day of the procedure. Balloon sinuplasty allows the natural sinus anatomy to be preserved and reduces the risk of postoperative complications. Audiology, (hearing diagnostics, identifying the causes of deafness and hearing loss and also hearing aids, the restoration of hearing with the help of prosthetics) is a separate area of focus.
