About clinic
The EMC histological laboratory is unique among similar commercial laboratories in Russia. The unit is equipped with modern equipment supplied by Leica, Sacura, Milestone and Nikon. The possibilities of the laboratory allow carrying out histological and cytological examinations of diagnostic biopsies or any surgical specimen, as soon as possible, including during surgery. Intraoperative examinations allow the determination of the required scope of surgery, which significantly improves its results.
The EMC histological laboratory uses microwave (fast) decalcification of bone objects, which reduces the time of histological examinations and conclusions enormously.
Gynecological examinations (PAP-test) are done using liquid cytology method, and the results thereof are provided in full accordance with international standards of the Bethesda classification. The laboratory uses an automated system tracking the material supplied for examination, which excludes the possibility of errors.
With the support of the best telemedicine centers in Western Europe, the results can be sent for analysis and diagnosis to foreign consultants at the best foreign universities. The histological laboratory team is made up of skilled professionals who put into practice their experience gained during internships and study abroad.
