Memory impairment is a symptom of many serious diseases:

The memory impairment diagnostic program includes:
- consultation with a neurologist - an expert in the field of cognitive impairment;
- consultation with a psychiatrist specializing in working with memory impairment;
- neuropsychological testing: a comprehensive assessment of attention, all types of memory, speech and written language, spatial and other functions;
- a consilium of three specialists to determine the necessary diagnostic and therapeutic ptocedures;
- final consultation based on the results of the consilium.
The final consultation is carried out by a neurologist or psychiatrist, depending on the identified disorders. The doctor will explain in detail the results of the examination, answer all questions of interest to the patient and draw up a detailed plan for further actions.
