We are glad to announce the appointment of Professor Ruiz-Echarri, MD, PhD, as a Head of EMC Oncology Institute.
Dr Ruiz-Echarri has more than 15 years of experience in Medical Oncology. He has worked in the leading cancer centers of Spain (Oncological Institute Baselga, Hospital Quirón. Barcelona; Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, Barcelona; University Hospital Lozano Blesa, Zaragoza). For the 4 years from 2012 to 2016 served as a Professor of the Department of Medicine in International University Cataluña.
Professor Ruiz-Echarri has also worked as Locum Consultant Medical Oncology at United Linconshire Hospitals, Lincoln (England). From 2018 till present he is a Consultant at Medical Fraternity Greensboro/Winston-Salem, North Carolina (USA) and a Locum Consultant Medical Oncology at Bristol Royal Infirmary (England).
Dr Ruiz-Echarri is actively involved in scientific research activities in the field of oncology, including the treatment of gastrointestinal tumors, prostate cancer, and breast cancer. He is the author of more than twenty scientific works in the leading international journals.
