In 2005, Dr. Volkov has graduated from the Kirov State Medical Academy; after that has entered the clinical residency in the specialty of "traumatology-orthopedics" in Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. his training was held in the State Clinical Hospital No. 15 at the department of traumatology. During the residency, he mastered the basic principles of traumatological patient management, the procedure of PSD and tendon suture, the deposition of skeletal traction, the main types of osteosynthesis (extramedullary, intramedullary, PCDO). He passed the course of patient management in severe trauma and polytrauma, as well as the course of therapeutic and diagnostic arthroscopy.
Experience
Dr. Volkov had been working as a traumatologist at the traumatology station of the Municipal outpatient clinic No. 79, in traumatology department of SUE "MC" CH No. 2. In 2013-2014, he worked in Klinik für Biokinematik (Germany).
In 2014, an internship in Austria (Zams, Krankenhaus St.Vinzenz), in 2015 - in BG Klinik-Tübingen Germany. In 2016, the training in the specialty of "Rehabilitation, sports medicine" at the Vishnevsky hospital.
Dr. Volkov participates on a regular basis in traumatological congresses and conferences. In 2012, he passed the certification course of AO Trauma, St. Petersburg.
He possesses all the methods of conservative treatment in traumas and diseases of the locomotor system, all types of osteosynthesis, endoprosthetics of the hip joint.
