Maximum accuracy of results is achieved through the use of robotic European, American and Japanese analyzers, the implementation of modern information technologies for data processing and a multi-level system of quality control for laboratory tests.
The Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory is a regular participant in programs for quality control: The Federal Service of External Evaluation for Quality of Laboratory Tests (FSEEQT) and the International External Quality Assurance Services (EQAS).
The laboratory employs highly qualified professionals, specially trained in clinical laboratory studies.
For patient convenience, the laboratory is open around the clock: testing is performed in EMC clinics at any time, without an appointment. In situations when a diagnosis is needed quickly, the physician is able to receive the results of lab tests emergently.
The laboratory also performs clinical and diagnostic studies for patients from other clinics. EMC's laboratory is valued for its reliability and convenience by dozens of companies in the health insurance and private health care markets.
Most lab studies are ready in 1 business day.
The blood serum of patients is kept for 1 month, which provides the opportunity to perform additional studies.

The Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory functions as a laboratory information system, facilitating the rapid exchange of laboratory data between EMC affiliates. Lab study results are transferred electronically to the patient and all patient results are kept in a single database of information at EMC.

In addition, EMC Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory provides the following studies:
  • bacteriological studies;
  • PCR diagnosis;
  • genetic studies;
  • diagnosis of hereditary diseases.
